Condition

We have for sale a very distinctive vintage Citizen dress watch, featuring a unique Art Deco-inspired case design and a beautifully detailed gold dial.

This piece stands out immediately thanks to its combination of textures and subtle design details. The dial features a vertical textured centre strip, contrasting against a cleaner outer section, while the applied baton markers keep the overall look sharp and minimal. The date window positioned at 6 o’clock adds symmetry and gives the watch a slightly more unusual layout compared to standard designs.

The case is where this piece really separates itself, with engraved detailing running along both sides of the case, giving it a much more decorative, almost jewellery-like feel. This is paired with a black cabochon-style crown, a detail typically seen on far higher-end dress watches.

Case - Gold plated case showing light wear and some signs of plating wear, particularly around edges. Decorative side engraving remains sharp and well preserved.

Crown - Black cabochon-style crown present and functioning correctly.

Movement - Quartz movement, running and operating as expected.

Case back - Stainless steel case back with scratching and wear consistent with age. Engravings still visible.

Strap - Aftermarket leather strap in good condition, suits the watch well.
